Ephesus Of Mesopotamia: Dara
Dara ancient city, currently known as Dara Village, is located 30 kilometres southeast of Mardin. Dara, which is one of the most important settlements in the history of Mesopotamia, was founded in 505 by the attempts of Emperor Anastasius (491-518) as a military garrison city in order to protect the eastern border of the eastern Roman Empire against the Sassanids.
Color feast between yellow and red. This is a dominant color, which you can see from the old Mardin houses, in another full historical structure of Mesopotamia.
