The most popular thing to do in Fethiye is visiting Ölüdeniz - the famous but hidden Butterfly Valley. Relax and sunbathe on the boat, swim and snorkel in the crystal clear turquoise waters, visit picturesque bays and beaches.
Your day will begin with pick up from your hotel (around 9:30 depending on the hotel location) and drive to Ölüdeniz harbour. On arrival, board your comfortable boat and settle on deck as you head out to sea. Sit back, enjoy the sea breeze and admire the breathtaking views as you pass through the mountains and some of the most magical and beautiful bays of Turkey.
First, enjoy the bright blue waters of the Blue Cave with a chance to swim into the cave. Then, sail to Butterfly Valley. Its romantic name is coming from the extraordinarily beautiful tiger butterfly that can be seen in early June. Colonies of these fascinating moths are flitting in a protected valley until late October. In order to take some memorable pictures of the beautiful nature reserve, trekking in the valley and climbing up to see the waterfalls is a must. IButterfly Valley can be reached only by boat, so do not miss the opportunity to swim in its clear waters and sunbathe on the beautiful sandy beach. There is a small cafe and a shop on the Butterfly Valley beach where travelers can buy cute souvenirs and gifts.
Then enjoy delicious lunch onboard and visit the next attraction - St. Nicholas island, a rocky islet. Explore ancient ruins of the 4-5th-century churches and climb up to the highest point of the island to admire spectacular panoramic views.
Before sailing back to Oludeniz there will be one more stop in the Cold Spring Bay. Refresh yourself by swimming in a place where a freshwater spring flows into the sea. Your trip ends with a hotel drop-off in Fethiye.
We recommend you to bring: swimsuit, towel, sun cream, sunglasses, hat, camera.
