We drive from North Cyprus to South.
The first stop will be at Petra Tou Romiou (Aphrodite's birthplace) to take photos.We than drive to Omodos village up on the Troodos Mountains.This village is one of the unique places with its wine and the stoned houses. We than drive to Paphos. The Medieval Castle was originally built as a Byzantine fort to protect the harbour. It was rebuilt by the Lusignans in the 13th century, destroyed by the Venetians and on 16th century rebuilt again by Ottomans.
At Paphos harbor we drink our refreshment. Panagia Chrysopolitissa Church which was built in the 13th century over the ruins of the largest Early Byzantine basilica on the island. In the compound you can see St. Paul's Pillar, where according to tradition Saint Paul was flogged before the Roman Governor Sergius Paulus was converted to Christianity. The floor of the basilica is covered with colorful mosaics. Ottoman Hamams can also be seen here.
The last stop will be at the Tombs of the Kings which spreads to a vast area from 4th century BC. This is a great opportunity if you want to see the west of the island which was also the capital before Nicosia.
The pick up/ drop off is from Kyrenia /Nicosia otherwise there will be extra cost from other locations. Please ask for it.
I am only licensed to guide you in North Cyprus due to political situation. Therefore I am not allowed to guide you in the Archaeological Sites as a guide in the Republic of Cyprus but I can give you information as a Cypriot.
